Katia Bhagatram
Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to learn about what we offer! I am Katia and I have lived in Grand Junction since 2011. My family and I have enjoyed moving from the mountains of Alaska to the high desert of Colorado.
My professional experience has been varied and includes work in public health fields, focusing on community health programs and child protection services, as well as counseling roles as school counselor and working in a community mental health center. I enjoy working with all ages, but specialize in working with adolescents.

I have a B.A. in Anthropology, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Counseling Education degree. I am a Colorado certified school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in CO, AZ, AK, and OH. I am certified in Complex Trauma and EMDR Trained.
My counseling approach is very solution-focused with an emphasis on client strengths. I've seen amazing responses using animals in a therapeutic setting, so I am excited to be able to offer animal-assisted psychotherapy in our community!
Trigg Skoe
My name is Trigg and I have been on the western slope of Colorado almost all of my life. I grew up in Montrose and have lived here in Grand Junction since 2021. The western slope has a special place in my heart due to the community and the amazing outdoor access.

I have a bachelors degree in Natural Sciences and have a background in teaching science within alternative and public school settings. I also have experience as an outdoor instructor and guide for a variety of different activates and groups. Some of my professional experiences have been being a high school science teacher, a dean of students, an adjunct professor at Colorado Mesa University, a coordinator of outdoor programs, and others. I enjoy working with all ages and experience, but specialize in working with youth between 6 and 18 years old.

My approach to support youth is individualized and solution focused. Within my experiences I have seen the outdoors as a great learning environment as it assists youth in developing resiliency, community, trust, and many other aspects that we look towards as growth objectives.

I am so excited to be working with Katia and the Pathfinders program to support the Grand Junction community in counseling services as well as developing a passion for the outdoors!
