Meet The Animal Helpers

Tux is a three year-old Bernese Mountain Dog and Newfoundland mix.  He is a fully registered and insured Certified Therapy Dog with K9 to 5.

Weighing in around 150lbs, Tux is a gentle giant who was raised in a school environment surrounded by kids all day.  Tux has never met a child, or a food item, that he didn't instantly love! 

Zion is a large 11-year-old Belgian and Quarter Horse gelding that I adopted from a rescue five years ago.  He has gone from being an underweight, insecure, anxious bully to a friendly and reliable equine partner.  His favorite things are cold watermelon and a bottle of cold Pepsi, and bossing his friend, Enzo, around. 

Enzo is a three year-old BLM mustang from the Paisley Desert HMA in OR.  He has a big, goofy personality and thinks he is a Labrador retriever.  When Enzo first came out of the BLM pen, I taught him to "smile" and show his teeth on demand for treats.  Now he does it all the time without being asked.  

Inky is the newest edition to the herd and is still somewhat shy of people.  She is a very sweet pony and has experience with children.  She loves to squeal and boss the big horses around.  "Though she be but little, she is fierce"-  Shakespeare
